Today the videography team Dave and Frankie went to the wedding of Gemma and Troy. The day started in the morning at Gemma's parents house in Chesterfield, where the beautiful Gemma greeted us at the door.
With her hair and make up already done she was very calm and collective as her and her maid of honour chatted away. Gemma's family were getting into the spirits of the day ahead and started the day off by opening a bottle of champagne. Gemma's uncle arrived outside with his VW camper van which was beautifully decorated portraying a 'surfer dude style' to bring a bit of home comforts for our groom Troy who was from Australia.
As Gemma made her way down the staircase in her dress it was hard for her dad not to well up, he told her he had never seen her looking as beautiful as she did today. It was time for the team to head to the church and meet groom Troy. The church was called St Mary's church in Ecclesfield and on arrival we could see how picturesque it was. Dave and Frankie took this opportunity to get some footage of Troy and his two Aussie groomsmen outside in the sunshine before the ceremony began. As Gemma walked down the isle and Troy turned around to look at her his emotions overcame him when she smiled at him. Gemma looked stunning in her A line lace dress and Troy couldn't keep his eyes of her. The ceremony was a beautiful service, rings and vows were exchanged and not before long they became the new Mr and Mrs Luca.
Everybody headed outside of the church and threw confetti over the pair as they walked to their camper van and drove to their wedding venue which was Whitley Hall Hotel. On arrival to the venue guests were greeted with canapés at the door, the weather was beautiful so we took this chance to take the couple around the grounds at Whitley, even a peacock made an appearance. It was time for the wedding breakfast to commence where speeches followed after food, they were very heartwarming and had a lot of the guests laughing out loud and crying with some of the story's that were told.
After the wedding breakfast the day then transitioned into the evening reception where a Dave Spink photography photo booth was set up with our booth attendant Sonia running it and we showed Gemma and Troy our highlights of the day on a slideshow for everyone to watch which you can see below.
It was time for the cutting of the cake followed by the first dance where all guests joined in at the end and danced the night away. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Gemma and Troy for booking DSP and would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them on there marriage and wish them every happiness in there future together! We are sure the adventures will continue from when you met at summer camp to where you are now
