Photographing a wedding at Woodstock

Woodstock Weddings & Events is on Corban Lane near York. The former horse stud has been converted into a wedding venue in countryside surroundings. Natalie and George’s photographs below show a real day here: a barn ceremony, confetti outdoors, willow portraits and celebrations beneath the timber roof.

I look for variety in the light and surroundings, from wider photographs of the barn and courtyard to closer portraits in the trees. The warm interior and outdoor space give the photographs a sense of place while leaving room for the reactions and quieter moments around you.
