Your day, naturally

A wedding story.
Room to enjoy it.

Abbey and Adam’s photographs show the variety of a wedding at Deighton Lodge: an outdoor ceremony, courtyard and countryside portraits, and celebrations inside the brick barn. My approach follows the people and the moments of the day, with a little time for relaxed portraits together.

Their preparations take place in light indoor spaces before the photographs move outside. The buildings and gardens provide different backdrops, from a walk through the courtyard to portraits beside the planting and fields.

I photograph the ceremony as it unfolds: the entrance, exchange of rings, smiles and reactions among your guests. Family photographs and natural moments with the people around you sit alongside the couple portraits.

A short portrait session can use a few nearby settings, leaving room in the day for time with your guests. We’ll plan around your ceremony time and the family photographs that matter to you.

Inside the barn, exposed beams, brickwork and chandeliers give the speeches and dancing a recognisable setting. These photographs show the guests and their reactions as well as the room itself.

Photography tip: the people are as important as the backdrop. A small selection of family groups, a short walk for portraits and time to photograph the celebration naturally give your story more variety.
