Merrydale Manor, Cheshire · A real wedding
Caitlin & James's Merrydale Manor photographs tell the story through both the people and the setting. The house, the white flowers in the ceremony room and the gardens each bring a different feel to the collection.
The preparations include the small details as well as the people around Caitlin: the dress hanging ready, the final touches to makeup, time with the bridal party and a moment on the staircase. Those in-between photographs help the story feel personal before anyone walks down the aisle.
Inside the ceremony room, tall white floral arrangements frame the aisle beneath the beams. The selection moves between wider views and closer moments: James waiting, Caitlin arriving, the exchange of rings and guests watching from their seats.
After the ceremony, confetti fills the frame as Caitlin & James walk out together. It is a lovely change of pace from the quieter photographs inside, followed by time outdoors with family and the wedding party.
The grounds give the portraits several different backgrounds without losing the connection between the couple. There are garden paths, mature trees and open lawns, then the jetty beside the fountain for a photograph that feels unmistakably Merrydale.
Here is a selected set of 42 photographs from their preview collection, bringing together venue details, preparations, ceremony moments, confetti, family photographs and portraits.
